Will you help preserve Mount Angel’s historic library?
This treasured space of culture and learning is one of two buildings in the United States designed by the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto. Dedicated in 1970, the library houses over 230,000 items – including one of the most significant theological collections in the Northwest.
With your gift of $100 or more, you will not only help with the preservation and work of the library, we will inscribe the name of the person you designate on a nameplate in a volume of the Abbey’s Aalto library.
Thank you for whatever help you can offer. Each day, the monks of Mount Angel and close to 100 seminarians who study at Mount Angel Seminary remember you in our prayers of gratitude. We invite you to come and visit, walk through our lovely grounds, and spend time enjoying the peace and light of the Aalto library.
