The Press: Abbey Bookstore and Coffeehouse is located in 2500 square feet of the quaint and historic Abbey Press Building (1908), set between the Post Office (1914) and the cemetery chapel (1883), with its own parking spaces and well-marked entrance.
The bookstore is stocked with a wide variety of books and gifts, specializing in monasticism, theology, and Catholic spirituality. There is also a selection of fine art, icons, all occasion and blank cards, devotional objects and fair trade gifts, as well as resources for Gregorian chant and sacred classical music.
In addition to a large variety of Catholic books and gifts, espresso drinks, hot tea, Abbey Brew, and a variety of freshly baked pastries from the Abbey kitchen are available for purchase. Visitors are welcome to take advantage of the wi-fi and warm ambiance. The bookstore and coffeehouse is one of the coziest spots on the Hilltop where all are welcome to sit and read or visit with friends.
A selection of Benedictine Brewery beers, brewed by the monks of Mount Angel Abbey, are available in sets of four in especially designed bottles (for carry out only).
