Este mandato apostólico ha inspirado a innumerables generaciones de cristianos a construir una vida de oración… pero ¿por qué? ¿Por qué debemos orar? ¿Por qué debemos orar sin cesar? ¿Cómo debemos orar? ¿Y cómo podemos orar sin cesar? Este retiro tiene como objetivo responder a estas preguntas.

A lo largo de las charlas de este retiro, el hno. Alfredo abordará temas como la oración, la oración continua, un método de oración y una regla de oración. Pasará de la teoría —contenida en las enseñanzas de la Iglesia y en los escritos de los santos— a consejos prácticos sobre cómo construir una vida de oración que pueda llevar a una vida de oración continua.

Beginning a Life of Unceasing Prayer

Saint Paul tells us: “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thess 5:15). This apostolic command has inspired countless generations of Christians to build a life of prayer… but why? Why should we pray? Why should we pray without ceasing? How should we pray? And how can we pray without ceasing? This retreat aims to answer these questions.

Throughout the retreat talks, Br. Alfredo will address topics such as prayer, unceasing prayer, a method of prayer, and a rule of prayer. He will move from theory—found in the teachings of the Church and the writings of the saints—to practical advice on how to build a life of prayer that can lead to unceasing prayer.
