There are several convenient ways to make a gift to Mount Angel Abbey and Seminary. Gifts may be made annually, as a 3-5 year pledge or as a single gift.

Seminary

Seminary Receives Two Matching Gifts Grants!

Learn more about how you can double your gift.

• Assist with the education and training of a seminarian. It now costs over$32,000 per year for each seminarian. Mount Angel must raise over $1.2 million each year for education costs not covered by tuition and fees.
• Expand and renovate Mount Angel Seminary facilities. The current priority is to add 16 new seminarian rooms in Anselm Hall.
• Build endowments for academic departments, spiritual formation programs, and the recruitment and retention of excellent faculty.

Monastery

• Provide nursing care for senior monks who have devoted their entire careers to serving the Church.
• Make it possible for 9 monks to attend Mount Angel Seminary and become future Seminary faculty members and spiritual directors.

Library

• Purchase new books, periodicals and other resources for use by seminarians, monks, faculty, and library members.

Retreat House

• Provide excellent speakers for retreats.
• Renovate guest rooms into more contemporary quarters.
• Pay for retreat costs of guests who cannot afford the cost of a retreat.
