Monsignor Richard Paperini welcomed the guests and began the program as guests settled back with their coffee.

'Purihin ang Panginoon' was a four part song with each group singing in his own language - shown are the Samoans. They were joined by the Hispanics, Vietnamese and Filipino seminarians.

The full seminary student body sang 'Take the word of God with you' accompanied by trumpets, saxophone, guitars and piano - all musicians were seminarians.

Abbey Foundation board member, Chris Corrado, chaired the event and asked guests to support the seminarians.

At the close of the evening everyone - seminarians and guests - joined in singing 'One spirit one church.' A particular highlight was the colorful Vietnamese traditional apparel worn by the Vietnamese seminarians.

Archbishop Vlazny accepted an etched glass representation of Saint Peter in appreciation of his support for the Abbey and Seminary and honoring him as the dinner's Honorary chair. The images was taken from an icon written by Abbey monk Br. Claude Lane.

Abbot Gregory Duerr thanked the crowd for coming and for being supportive of the Seminary before bestowing a blessing on everyone for a safe journey home.
