Meet your future priests at the Seminary Benefit Dinner.

John Marshall, Theology III seminarian from the Archdiocese of Portland, visits with guests at the Arlene Harris Smit and Paul Smit table during the Eighth Annual Seminary Benefit Dinner.

One of the greatest needs of the Catholic Church today is spiritual leadership. Mount Angel Seminary has an excellent priestly formation program that is training tomorrow’s priests.

We invite you to join with us in the celebration of future priests by sponsoring a table at the Ninth Annual Seminary Benefit Dinner. Your support help maintain the excellent priestly formation program provided by Mount Angel Seminary. The largest seminary in the west, Mount Angel serves 5 religious orders and 26 dioceses with a Catholic population of over eleven million.

The total cost to educate a seminarian is $34,700. Tuition, room and board fees cover 80% of this cost. The Abbey and Seminary must raise the additional amount for each seminarian – over $1.2 million in private support each year for seminarian education.
